In the near future I will start with the (pre-)master Educational Science and Technology. This master revolves around how people learn. I am really interested in this part of the human sciences as I believe that the combination between this research master and my bachelor in Industrial Design will be of great value for developing designs that will help people within organizations to learn more efficiently and be open to feedback. I chose specifically for this (pre-)master, as it is in my field of interest, but also because I want to do more in-depth (design) research and experience a different context than design. Although I firmly believe that design or certain design methods will be used later on in my career, I also see the benefit of diving into theory and literature on how humans learn. This way I will set a theoretical basis for my future design activities, which is in line with my preferred way of working.

As I am also an eager learner, I would want to continue learning after my first master and maybe start the master ID as well. This way I can combine research and design in an advanced way. I foresee that my professional career is also revolved around the combination between design (research) and educational activities. I want to work in an organization that helps teams within other organizations to implement the designerly way of thinking. I want to listen, talk, research, and engage with these teams to come to design solutions that revolve around empathy and growth.
